Jesus is Stepping In!

SPEAKER & SCRIPTURE

Pastor Armando Zendejas— Matthew 8:14-15

ABOUT THIS MESSAGE

We had a beautiful, anointed "Daytime with Jesus" service this past Sunday morning! The presence of God was palpable as we invited Him to step directly into our circumstances. If you missed Sunday’s powerful word, here is a recap of the prophetic disruption God released over our congregation:

The enemy has a singular agenda for your life: he wants to cripple your praise. He tries to hit you with so many trials, setbacks, and burdens that you just lay down and quit. In Matthew 8:14, we see Peter’s mother-in-law laid flat on her back, sick with a fever. That is exactly what the enemy tries to do to your spirit—turn up the heat of your trials to give you a spiritual fever, leaving you paralyzed by depression and burning up with worry.

But your posture does not determine your promise! You may have been knocked down by the economy, a diagnosis, or a betrayal, but the enemy didn't check the guest list. Jesus is stepping into your circumstances!

Catch this revelation: Peter’s mother-in-law was too sick to get to the synagogue or climb the mountaintop. So what did Jesus do? He brought the healing to her living room. When you are too weak to fight, too tired to pray, and too overwhelmed to climb the mountain, you serve a God who steps right into the middle of your mess. The atmosphere in that house was filled with sickness, but the moment the soles of the Master's feet crossed the threshold, the atmosphere had to bow!

The Touch That Shifts the Atmosphere

Jesus didn't offer a medical diagnosis or form a committee to discuss her symptoms. He simply reached out and touched her hand, and the fever broke instantly. When Jesus touches your situation, the things that have been draining your life—that mountain of debt, that sickness, that family crisis—have to let go! One touch from the Master breaks the grip of hell.

Get Up and Praise!

"And she arose, and ministered unto them." (Matthew 8:15b)

What happened the moment she was healed? She didn't lay back down to rest. Her health was restored so her praise could be released! The devil thought your praise was permanently crippled, but it is time to wipe your tears, shake off the dust, and GET UP!

Look whatever is trying to hold you down in the eye and declare: "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me." (Micah 7:8).

The devil's party is over. Jesus is in the house, your miracle is on its feet, and the comeback has begun!we invite you to join us for our upcoming services:

  • Tuesday: Men's and Ladies' Prayer
  • Wednesday: Mid-Week Worship Service
  • Next Sunday: Sunday Service

We look forward to seeing you there!
